Proof first
You see the design before anything is printed
Signs were lettered by hand when the shop opened. The tools have changed since; a clean letter you can read from across the boulevard is still the whole job.

Put your name on it
Type your business name and see it on a van, a storefront or a banner. It is a rough sketch; the real proof is drawn by our designer for your exact vehicle or wall.
First, tell us the job.
Call, stop by or send the quote form. Give us the make and model of the vehicle, or the size of the wall.
Then we draw a proof.
Our designer lays out your logo and copy. Ask for changes until it is right.
You approve, pay half.
A 50% deposit starts production. Approvals within two business days keep the date.
We print and install it.
The balance is due when you accept the finished work. Then go get noticed.
Born on Atlantic Blvd
Jack Signs was founded by Jack Helstowski in 1938 in East L.A., on the corner of Whittier and Atlantic Blvd. It stayed a family business for generations, and through the late sixties it moved up Atlantic a few times. At its last stop on Atlantic the landowner sold the property, so in the seventies the shop moved to Washington Blvd, and it has been there ever since.
For years the sign out front said 1958. One owner changed the date, worried customers would picture a much older man behind the counter. The real year, 1938, is the one on this page. Today Jack Signs is still making signs, and the vinyl, the printers and the trucks have changed with the city, but the job is the same: make your idea look like it belongs on the street.
The JS laurel, the shop's mark.
What customers say
This place has been amazing for 20+ years. It's a place to be if you want to get your car detailed or your truck with signs.
Joseph "Tony" helped us custom design our tow truck lettering to the T. We are very impressed with his professionalism.
For last minute necessities, it turned out great. Great work, would totally do another purchase in the future.
